1. Who we are
Sukvai Manufacturing Co., No. 4, Second Street, East Kamakoti Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai 600087, Tamil Nadu, India ("Sukvai", "we") decides how your personal data is used. We are the "controller" under the GDPR and the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to; our Grievance Officer handles all privacy matters (section 11).
2. Personal data we collect and why

Providing this data is not a legal requirement. If required fields are missing we cannot respond to your RFQ. Please do not include sensitive data (such as health, financial or identity documents) in the form.
This website sets no cookies and uses no similar technologies such as local storage, tracking pixels or fingerprinting. Fonts are served from our own domain.
3. Legal basis
- EU, EEA and UK: we process RFQ data because you asked us to take steps before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); order and customer data to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); records we must keep by law (Art. 6(1)(c)); and technical data for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- India: we process your data with the consent you give by ticking the privacy box on the RFQ form, only for the purposes listed above.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.
4. Who receives your data
Only Sukvai staff who handle your enquiry, and these service providers acting on our instructions under data-protection terms:
- Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting, security and processing of the RFQ form.
- Resend – delivering your RFQ to our team by email.
- GoDaddy – our business email, where RFQs are received and stored.
We do not sell or "share" personal data (as defined in California law) and disclose it to no one else unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
5. International transfers
We are based in India, and our service providers may process data in India, the United States and elsewhere. Data transferred from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- RFQs that do not lead to business: deleted within 24 months of our last contact.
- Customers: for the duration of the relationship, then as long as Indian tax and commercial law requires (currently up to 8 years).
- Technical logs: kept briefly by Cloudflare for security.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, complete, update or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. In addition:
- EU, EEA and UK: restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format.
- India: grievance redressal, and nominating someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.
- California: know what we hold, delete and correct it, and not be discriminated against for using these rights.
We reply within one month, free of charge, and may need to verify your identity first.
8. Withdrawing consent
Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent: send a message through the RFQ form with "Withdraw consent" in the requirement field, or contact our Grievance Officer (section 11). We will then stop processing your data and delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it. Processing before withdrawal stays lawful.
9. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can put things right. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live or work (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office), or in India to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Security, children and changes
The website runs only over encrypted HTTPS and access to RFQs is limited to the people who need them. This website is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. Links such as "View on Google Maps" go to third-party sites with their own privacy notices. If we change this notice, the version and date above change, and the version you accepted is recorded with your RFQ.
